Our 4-colour e-ink display works by using tiny capsules filled with coloured pigments (black, white, red, and yellow).
When voltage is applied via NFC, specific pigments rise to the surface to create an image or text.

Push out the phone from the case camera and gradually remove the phone from top to bottom.

Not at all.
Our case does not require a consistent power source, it will only draw a tiny amount of power from the phone through NFC when transmitting a new picture.
After the picture has been transmitted onto the case the screen can display the image without the need of power to maintain it ✨

Due to the display, our case is only water resistant.
This means that rain exposure will not cause any issues, however the case should not be submerged underwater or taken swimming as this could potentially damage the display.
